Is there a war brewing?
Not another civil war. Not even Marvel and DC movie wars.
I'm talking about a digital comics price war. Is there an Amazon vs. Comixology war heating up?
I don't know (and we'll talk about it later) but if so, this week would be a great example of one.
Both Amazon and Comixology are running some of the exact same great sales.
Marvel Collections Sale
We had already talked about most of these books on sale at Amazon. However, it turns out that either we missed Comxiology's concurrent sale or they've just launched it. Either way you have your choice of where to buy these books:
Animal Man Sale
We mentioned this one already but it's worth talking about it again. Both Amazon and Comixology are running 99¢ sales on every single Animal Man issue. Ever. And yes, that means the old series as well as the most recent.
Justice League Collections Sale
And they're at it again! Both Comixology and Amazon are running a sale on Justice League New 52 Volume 1 Collections:
- Justice League Vol. 1: Origin (The New 52)
- Shazam! Vol. 1
- Superman - Action Comics Vol. 1: Superman and the Men of Steel
- Wonder Woman Vol. 1: Blood
- Aquaman Vol. 1: The Trench
- Green Lantern Vol. 1: Sinestro
- Justice League Dark Vol. 1: In the Dark
- Green Arrow Vol. 1: The Midas Touch
- Batman Vol. 1: The Court of Owls
- The Flash Vol. 1: Move Forward
Powers Sale
And here Comixology pulls away for the week. Today is the last day of their amazing sale on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's Powers. They have every single issue for 99¢. And for those with the budget they have a great bundle: Every issue in one single bundle $64.99.
But Comixology's not done yet. Until 3/31 you can buy every issue of Garth Ennis' Crossed on sale for 99¢. And here too you can find every single issue in one bundle for $74.99.
